About Us
The Colorado Chapter of IDSA (Infectious Disease Society of America) is an association for professionals in the field of infectious diseases. Membership includes infectious disease physicians, basic science and clinical researchers, mid-level providers, epidemiologists, infection control practitioners, and public health specialists. Our professional association hopes to facilitate education on "hot topics" in infectious disease through our annual conference and encourage networking and communication among our membership.
Goals
The goals of the Colorado IDSA are to:
- Identify, integrate and facilitate communication in the ID community in Colorado
- Provide a local venue for an annual educational meeting for ID practitioners
- Provide local expertise to each other, Colo. Dept. of Public Health and Environment, legislators, and others
- Establish an independent, self-sustaining and governing body for shared issues
Support
Colorado IDSA is a volunteer-run organization. Meeting registration fees and dues do not fully cover the costs of holding the society's annual conference and meeting. We depend on your generous donations and support from pharmaceutical companies to host this event. If you would like to make a tax-deductible contribution to Colorado IDSA, please see the registration form for the conference.
